Amherst Organization seeking Social Media Assistant to join their growing team!
The Social Media Assistant is responsible for contributing to the growth and maintenance of company's social media campaign focusing primarily on company's LinkedIn account and company's software. Assisting Marketing and Business Development on an as needed and/or project basis.
Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to social media marketing through LinkedIn
  • Identify other potential opportunities for marketing through Twitter, Facebook, and/or blogs
  • Conduct research through LinkedIn and other platforms to identify prospective clients
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy of database, updating and correcting contact information as needed
  • Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of social media campaigns to maximize results
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Research, write, edit or proofread documentation as needed for business development and marketing departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing material for: advertisements, trade shows, and conferences
  • Become an expert on client base
  • Assist with telemarketing calls

Experience with marketing and online platforms. The ideal candidate will be interested in Public Policy, motivated and have the ability to work with little direct supervision.
