Job Description


Temporary Administrative/Event Specialist opening (will work in the office at our Hollywood, FL location during office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm). Candidate should be flexible to work occasional overtime and/or weekends as event deadlines approach.
Position is responsible for logistical and administrative support relating to Association's fundraising events throughout the South FL area.

Candidate will be working as a team and assisting with some or all of the following duties.
•Planning of event's logistics (i.e.: securing venue, reviewing vendor contracts and proof of insurance, van/truck rentals)
•Managing and tracking direct and indirect event expenses
•Meeting deadlines for the development and management of respective annual budgets
• Volunteer recruitment and management (External Partners)
• Creating and/or coordinating materials and packets
• Managing and updating internal database systems
• Accountability and upkeep of Sponsorship Agreements
• Securing auction items and in-kind donations
• Managing post-event feedback
• Supporting fundraising directors with day to day administrative tasks
• Position may require occasional local travel throughout the designated markets.


Candidate must have a valid driver's license, proof of at least minimum state required automobile liability insurance and ability and willingness to travel locally as position may require. Satisfactory background checks including motor vehicle and criminal history.
