Responsibilities

  • Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
  • Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • Conduct and manage the general ledger
  • Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
  • Settle accounts by reconciling entries
  • Prior experience using accounting software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
  • Expertise in accounts payable
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
