Marketing Billing & Audit Analyst
Marketing Billing & Audit Analyst
We're looking for a sharp and organized professional to join our Marketing team in a contract role focused on billing and audit support. This position is essential to keeping our marketing finances on track- ensuring accurate billing, organizing audit documentation, and reconciling vendor accounts. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in billing, auditing, or financial reconciliation, particularly within a marketing or agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing Review & Audit

Review marketing campaign billing processes for accuracy and policy compliance

Audit marketing expense records to identify and correct discrepancies
Evidence Management
-
Collect, verify, and organize marketing-related documentation including invoices, contracts, and receipts

Maintain accurate audit-ready records in accordance with internal standards
Vendor Reconciliation

Reconcile vendor invoices with internal records, focusing on agencies, freelancers, and service providers

Address and resolve discrepancies with vendors quickly and professionally
Compliance & Reporting

Ensure billing practices align with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Create detailed reports summarizing audit and reconciliation findings for marketing leadership
Process Improvement

Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current billing and documentation processes

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and workflow efficiency
Team Collaboration

Partner with marketing teams to understand campaign requirements and ensure proper billing
-
Serve as a resource for billing and compliance questions across the department
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field
-
1–2 years of experience in billing, auditing, or financial reconciliation (preferably in a marketing or advertising environment)

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
