Accounts Payable Specialist - Miami, FL

SNI Companies is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable contractor in Miami, FL to support a growing organization through their software implementation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP pro who thrives in fast-paced, boots-on-the-ground environments and knows how to plug into a new team quickly.

This contract position is ideal for someone who’s used to working with field ops teams, juggling vendor relationships, and managing both purchase orders and credit card expenses. You’ll be a key player in ensuring clean books during a time of system migration and operational growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately enter vendor invoices, receipts, and expenses into the accounting system
• Help create and manage purchase orders and verify compliance with company policies
• Track, review, and reconcile credit card transactions (must be comfortable working with non-accounting teammates to clarify expenses)
• Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements
• Assist with the data transition from QuickBooks to Foundation (new ERP system)
• Maintain well-organized records, both digital and physical
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm payment status and resolve discrepancies
• Provide support for internal audits and ad-hoc reporting needs
• Report to the Senior AP Specialist and Corporate Controller

• Hands-on Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in construction, field services, or contractor-heavy industries preferred
• Proven success in temp or contract roles where you’ve had to get up to speed fast
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to systems like QuickBooks, Foundation, and Fyle is a plus
• Professional English and Spanish language skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
