Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing waiver services to assigned schools. This includes the responsibility of waiver system setup and testing and responsibility to audit waiver submissions. This position will ensure that appropriate audit documentation is available to ensure efficient and accurate processing. This role will work closely with the Account Service Managers to ensure that waiver services for schools are handled in a professional manner, meet approved waiver requirements, and satisfy established turn-around times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Complete assigned schools' waiver audit documentation and submitted waiver requests accurately and in a timely manner. Audit all assigned waivers by the end of the day.
  • Assist the school with adding/deleting students, making any status changes, providing administrator training, etc.
  • Assist the students regarding waiver issues and questions.
  • Answer waiver phone and support email questions.
  • Monitor IssueTrak for emails regarding waivers.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with schools and students alike.
  • Provide waiver reporting as needed by school.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
  • Identify system, workflow, and procedure suggestions to streamline the user experience. Assist with testing modifications when requested.
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.



  • SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

    • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Insurance industry experience is a plus
    • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in customer service
