BANKING - TRAINING COORDINATOR SUMMARY

Are you an experienced Training Coordinator with expertise in the Banking and Financial industry? If so then this position is for you. Currently seeking an outgoing individual to become part of our team. In this position, you would be responsible for promoting the company's mission statement and values while conducting traditional classroom and web-based training sessions using effective presentation skills, verbal communication skills and classroom management skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct soft skill and technical training for associates.
  • Obtain feedback on an ongoing basis while developing solutions for internal 'members' to ensure strategies and tactics will meet needs and expectations. Address gaps and areas needing improvement to create and implement solutions.
  • Develop specific product knowledge training, i.e., deposit accounts, retirement accounts (IRA's), loans, ancillary products and services, etc. Test for knowledge.
  • Produce micro-learning courses via online course creation software.
  • Work closely with facility Executives, Sales and Service to identify training needs.
  • Maintain calendar of associate training events.
  • Conduct in-house training on changes in policies, procedures or new products/services.
  • Organize, develop and maintain job aids, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, training manuals, multimedia visual aid and other educational materials.
  • Administer and maintain BAI learning management system. Assign classes, monitor the required regulatory courses and testing, annually, and utilize all tools in BAI Online; integrate information and portals as feasible.
  • Compile data for annual training; monitor budget to ensure allocated funds do not exceed actual budget.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the delivery of training programs.
  • Experience working in financial environment required.
  • Understanding of banking products including consumer banking, lending, online banking, card services and bill payment services required
  • Experience with course creation programs such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, etc. highly desired
  • Working knowledge of Lending 360 and DNA Fiserv preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills as exhibited by the ability to influence others, gather information from individuals and groups, and build collaborative relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication, time management, problem solving, project management, leadership and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, curious, resourceful, flexible, dependable, and willing to share ideas
  • Able to make logical decisions; possess excellent judgment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Salary $45k Annually
  • Monday - Friday
