Job Description

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

$18 - $20/hr based upon experience

SNI Companies is searching for a Temporary Benefits and Compensation Assistant to perform varied administrative and specialized tasks in support of the day to day administration of the employee benefits program.

Education and Experience Requirements:

2 years HR Benefits and/or Compensation administration required, Associate degree or higher

Core Responsibilities:


Perform extensive customer service related contact with employees and dependents regarding their benefits and processing of their benefits, to include answering questions, performing research and responding to employee questions regarding all benefits.


Assist employees in communicating with third party administrators to ensure reasonable responses to employee concerns.


Perform a variety of administrative and complex benefit related clerical work, to include but not limited to, maintaining a variety of files and filing systems to include employee and terminated personnel filing, maintaining all active employee and COBRA enrollment records for the group health program, entering and verify a variety of data into the computer system, and maintain benefits related forms and documents.


Participate with annual open enrollment.


Participates in external compensation surveys, provides detailed market analysis on positions. Co-Manages projects such as annual salary survey.


Administers job descriptions for the organization; including evaluating job descriptions, maintaining electronic and paper records of approved job descriptions, making recommendations for job titles and limiting job titles appropriately.


Assists the Benefits and Compensation Manager with various benefits related projects in support of benefits administration and provide administrative support for compensation.
