Staffing Now's client located in Boulder, CO is immediately seeking to hire a Retail Product Development & Support Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis.


The Retail Product Development and Support Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the retail deposit lifecycle including identifying sales and growth opportunities through design and delivery, and ensuring competitive pricing including promotional pricing and sales strategies. The position will manage, support and coordinate projects related to the credit union's retail product offerings, optimizing the profitability of existing products through pricing and design strategies, and leading the development of new products and services which meet member needs. The position supports and contributes to projects, User Interface (UI) development and product maintenance of credit union's digital products suite including mobile, home banking and online account origination. Continuously monitors member feedback and industry/market developments, and identifies potential new product opportunities. Works with other departments to establish product design, technology, marketing and vendor strategies. Analyzes product profitability and makes recommendations to enhance product offerings or discontinue products as warranted. This position ensures that the credit union's overall retail product strategy is consistent with line of business and corporate strategic goals. Work closely with the Project Management Office to implement enterprise wide initiatives. Supports and assists with the development of credit union's Product Development framework.


  • Managing the entire deposit product line life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on existing and potential products/services. Track all features of competitors' products/services and promotions.
  • Meets with employees and management across the business to understand the market and to quantify the specific benefits that members expect from the product/service. Keeps informed of all significant industry trends, market developments and the competitive landscape.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of member needs, identifying and filling product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve the member experience and drive growth.
  • Develops new products/services and manages existing products/services within assigned product lines including pricing, profitability, channel, promotions, product life cycle, segmentation and support.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes for go-to-market.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Prepares cost/benefit analyses to determine the effectiveness of new product/service promotions and enhancements.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of tracking mechanisms.
  • Understands applicable laws, regulations, and limitations of assigned product lines.
  • Creates a competitive matrix outlining the features of our products/services compared to our competitors. Establishes and continually refines competitive pricing/profit models.
  • Serves as retail liaison and team member on selected internal project teams.
  • Interact with the Marketing Department on a scheduled frequency to collaborate on product marketing promotions and changes.
  • Supports the credit union's digital channels by providing internal administrative support for member facing programs: including Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Online Account origination.
  • Maintains our Online Account origination channel through updates and site changes, this includes rate changes, as well as change in terms or other notices.
  • Researches applicable digital banking trends, tools, products and services applied in the financial industry.
  • Prioritize activities based on business and member impact.
  • Supports and helps develop the corporate Product Development Framework.
  • Contributes to the work of the team and encourages dialog between project members.
  • For assigned projects, be accountable for the success of project results, set dates for weekly project dialogs and team meetings. Prepare meeting agendas and take the lead role in facilitating to ensure the teams time is used wisely.
  • Monitor the team's work and productivity; make sure the team's work is consistent with standards set forth in the project evaluation criteria and the completion of assigned tasks within established timelines.
  • Ensure the team has resources needed to complete its work; keep the team focused, facilitate problem solving and ensure the removal of any roadblocks and barriers to project success
  • Ensure project management activities are completed within the scope of the designated project and timelines are met.
  • Maintain and projects the credit union's professional reputation both internally and externally
  • Maintain member confidentiality at all times.
  • Complete miscellaneous Retail Administration duties as needed.
  • Keeps management informed of all activities and of any significant problems.
  • Provide suggestions and recommendations for improved service delivery.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Credit Union Personnel.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business (Marketing), E-Commerce or related field or two to four years combination of education and experience preferably in a financial institution. Must be bondable.


  • Knowledge of Banking/Credit Union products and services.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills and an understanding of competitive analysis.
  • Ability to obtain, analyze and communicate complex information.
  • Understanding of user experience in member delivery channels.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and problem solving skills and creativity.
  • Ability to take a project from conception to roll-out and evaluate the process for future improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to turn raw research data into actionable plans for management's consideration.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities and able to work with all levels of the credit union.
  • Understanding of sales and promotion techniques.
  • Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Understanding of basic Project Management tools and techniques.


  • Minimum of two to four years' experience in a financial institution
  • Minimum of two years in e-commerce, digital banking and/or project management, preferably in a financial institution
  • Minimum of 1 year in a team lead or project lead role
  • Expertise with MS Office Professional
