Job Description

We are searching for highly detail-oriented GovCon/Technical Recruiter with a good grasp of technology and prior working experience supporting high volume requirements in a fast pace environment. This is a part-time role and is approximately 25 hours a week. Client is located in Reston, VA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open and contingent positions
  • Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle including initial assessments, interviews, and offers
  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
  • Work with hiring managers to create/modify job descriptions
  • Lead the process of recruiting and interviewing for each open position
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions including reference checks
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates
  • Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions
  • Manage and guide development of corporate employment resources
  • Participate in employment events, such as career fairs
  • Use applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track applicants through the selection phase to on-boarding
  • Develop recruitment strategies to include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing development and job board procurement

Experience & Education:

  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Experience filling positions for Government Contracts/Technical roles
  • At least two years of sourcing/recruiting resources for various consulting and technology positions
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
