Job Description

Candidate will source, recruit, conduct phone interviews, use and update the ATS, interact with the TA team and hiring managers at all levels.

The Recruiter will assist with all aspects of recruiting for the company. This position will play a critical role to help ensure client hires the best possible talent while maintaining fairness and compliance. The Recruiter will be responsible to assist in meeting the recruiting needs of hiring managers in an effort to meet their goals and objectives.

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to partner with hiring managers in order to identify
  • staffing needs and review job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
  • Screen resumes and candidates
  • Use multiple recruiting tools (e.g. Indeed, Monster, etc.) to source passive candidates
  • Engage with prospective and current applicants using email, telephone, social media, etc. to communicate employer information and respond to questions
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, etc. to find qualified passive candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews
  • Execute recruiting and interviewing for each open position assigned based on client's current procedure
  • Manage Recordkeeping
    • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data compliant with Affirmative Action requirements
    • Assist in the development of standard communication to send to applicants regarding interview confirmations, rejection letters, application process, orientation process, etc.
  • Stay current with the company's organizational structure, policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Develop, format, copy/print, duplicate, collate, disseminate, and store various documents including resumes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum three years of recruitment experience required
  • Recruiting experience with IT professionals
  • Government Contracting experience preferred
  • Agency recruitment experience preferred
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Must be proficient with various computer software including Microsoft Office, spreadsheet experience and presentation software
  • Ability to market opportunities in a competitive environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, professionalism and excellent judgement
  • Must be organized, creative and have the ability to work independently as well as with others, and be able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of recruiting and human resources work
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action requirements and legal best practices and pitfalls for recruiting
  • Technology knowledge - Ability to understand technology and to keep abreast of technology trends
