Job Description


Our client, a leading Food Manufacturer, located in Fort Worth, TX, has an immediate need for a Food Industry Quality Assurance Administrator!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and Maintain Technical and Quality Assurance Documents and Programs within Company Policies and Procedures and State, Federal and Customer Regulatory Requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the Document Control System.
  • Manage and maintain the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) System.
  • Manage and maintain the Employee Training Program.
  • Understands State, Federal and Customer Regulatory Requirements across all product categories and assure products and processes remain in compliance
  • Perform Food Safety & Food Security duties within the Position of QA/Technical



Administrator and by serving in the following roles:

  • Recall Committee Member
  • Quality Assurance Team Member
  • Security Program Team Member
  • SQF Practitioner (primary or secondary)
  • Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
  • Establish/update, support, perform training and audit against Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform Internal Audits according to established schedules
  • Confer with department heads to ensure compliance of purchasing, production, and shipping procedures.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and determine Corrective Actions for non-compliances found within areas of responsibility and/or as assigned by the QA Manager (or designee).
  • Assist Team Members with CAPAs
  • Responsible for achieving QA/Technical Departmental goals.
  • Establish and maintain a positive community relationship by supporting and working within the Corporate Values and Priorities.
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings in accordance with Project Management principles.
  • Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in technical/regulatory affairs.
  • Food Manufacturing Process Management Familiarity and Experience working within an FDA regulated food manufacturing process, including Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)



Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Trained in Project Management
  • Trained as Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
  • Trained as a SQF Practitioner
