Job Title: Purchasing Clerk
Work Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 3 month contract with option to extend or hire
Education/Experience Required: High School Education or equivalent.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • The Purchasing Clerk performs a variety of routine purchasing duties for procurement of materials, equipment, parts, and services for the company.
  • Receives inspects and signs for items ordered by the department.
  • Establishes and maintains material requisitions and purchase orders for the department.
  • Purchases (indirect Office Supplies) items in accordance with authorized material requisitions company-wide.
  • Performs daily administrative duties such as typing, mailing, filing, faxing and distribution of correspondence for Purchasing Management and Purchasing Department.
  • Follows established guidelines for performing day-to-day tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a business environment.
  • Prefer experience in a procurement environment.
  • Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies preferred.
