Job Description

Central Pinellas County electronic component distributor to the manufacturing industry as well as Military and Aerospace has a new opening in the Purchasing department!

Admin to the Purchasing Dept- Responsible for quickly locating stock and negotiating pricing based upon customer's needs. Upon successful negotiation of the product, the Buyer will issue the PO and then expedite the order to make sure it shows up in a timely manner. Along with this, the Buyer will be responsible to keep and maintain positive contact with the various vendors and work to maintain or improve our status with them.
Desired Skills
Must be able to compose a business e-mail and be able to talk on the phone in a clear and concise manner. Customer Service skills. Computer skills (intermediate Excel, Word, data entry, typing). A background in a call center is a plus but not a requirement. Preferred would be someone that can take instruction, understand and then run with it. You will be going through hands on training and need to be able to comprehend what is being shown and explained. Previous Purchasing or Accounting experience is a plus but not necessary.
