SNI Companies is currently hiring for Medical Support Representatives in the Tampa Bay areas.
Must have medical call center or Medical front office experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides patient focused customer service, while adhering to Service Center policies and procedures. Strictly adheres to established workflows. Utilizes effective written and verbal communications skills. Address all internal and external customers requests according to established protocol. Assist patients with resolving concerns/complaints and elevates as necessary. Receives, distributes information in a timely and efficient manner to facilitate continuity of care. Participates with OMG members in providing, assessing and improving customer services/relations with our customers. Assists in management of communication between patient provider, insurance, and ancillary departments. Successfully navigates Updox, viewing, updating, transferring, routing and removing documents received through the electronic faxing system. Reviews, updates, inputs and coordinates medical information. Completes required data entry to electronic medical record. Schedules new and follow up appointments. Creates new patient registration, by entering patient demographics ensuring accuracy of data into EMR, while avoiding creation of duplicate accounts. Verifies insurance to include matching date, policy number, expiration and insurance provider. Adds PCPs and attaches appropriate patient flags to patient record. Makes annotation on patient registration page, ensuring accuracy and detailed information is provided for effective patient care coordination throughout organization. Communicates with providers and office staff, using EMR message system, providing a detailed for coordination of patient care. Navigates EMR and obtains information needed to properly respond or direct patient care customer service. Enters referrals. Send request for medication refills. Gives patient direction on what return paperwork and or ancillary results are needed prior to follow-up appointment. Reviews all patient demographics to make sure it matches the EMR system. Enters data into the EMR system as necessary, ensures completion of patients' record on a daily basis. Ensures proper management, security, confidentiality of medical
records, adhering to HIPAA standards. Meets or exceed all customer service quality measures. Will be personally accountable to ensure correct data is entered into the electronic record system and completion of daily duties.
