SNI Companies has partnered with a growing law firm in New York seeking a Marketing Events Coordiantor to join their team. This opoprtunity allows for upward mobility, exceptional benefits and ability to work independently.


  • Manage all event logistics, including invitations, site/venue research, contract negotiations, facility/venue arrangements, room set-up, technical assistance, giveaways and catering for internal and external venues.
  • Develop and manage event budgets.
  • Work with lawyers on invitation list, agenda, presentation, handout materials, etc. and keep lead lawyers updated on status of RSVPs and planning progress.
  • Create and manage invitation lists in firm's CRM system.
  • Effectively manage day of event execution, including registration and nametags, handout materials, site management, speakers and presentations.
  • Conduct post event activities, including attendance updates, budget reconciliation and post event messaging.
  • Coordinate all professional accreditations (e.g., CLE, CPE, HRCI).
  • Conduct webinars.
  • Maintain master database of all events for quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Work with CRM team to ensure system is reflective of event information and contact updates.
  • Participate in weekly Events Team meetings and contribute to special projects, as necessary.
  • Assist with the creation, tailoring and production of pitch books, presentations and proposals and tracking relevant information in the firm's databases.
  • Support the collection of experience from lawyers and practice groups for inclusion in the firm's business development databases. Ensure experience submissions meet the firm's style standards.
  • Track and follow-up on pitch and proposal results.
  • Coordinate the regular updating of lawyer biographies, practice group overviews, deal and case charts, representative client lists, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist with directory, awards and rankings submissions.


  • 1-2 years' of events management experience within a law firm or professional services firm required
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
  • Ability to work effectively in an independent environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills, able to multi-task
  • Strong writing skills
  • High energy
