Job Description

Marketing and Digital Communication Coordinator is needed for nonprofit in the Mercer County, New Jersey area

The Marketing & Digital Communications Coordinator will devise and implement marketing communication strategies and tactics to achieve the following:

  • Clearly promote mission across all stakeholder touch points.
  • Maximize membership and integrity of the database.
  • Establish relevant brand differentiation through unique messaging and proof points.
  • Help firmly establish organization's position and further build a strong reputation as a future-leading entity.
  • Expand reach through optimization of digital tools and effective use of new channels.
  • Explore advertising opportunities.
  • Support strong revenue generation outcomes through creative and impactful communication
  • Establish processes for organization to consistently gather, publish and analyze institutional research data and ensure the data is available for strategic decision-making and future growth assessment.
  • Build and maintain relations with external community stakeholders for outreach and market intelligence purposes.
  • Lead, develop and manage organization's communications in print and digital environments:
    • website (both external and internal)
    • magazine/newsletters
    • Executive Director communications
    • New publication/communication initiatives
  • Build strong brand equity by maximizing impressions and ensuring visual and contemporary messaging consistency across all communications.
  • In conjunction with Executive Director, ensure alignment of duties, communication and collaboration across organizational functions with clear performance expectations for each.
  • Attend Team meetings to be informed of activities, upcoming events in support of an effective and ongoing communications strategy.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Executive Director

Relationship Management and Events

  • Build strong worldwide community engagement and ongoing dialogue with key constituency groups through effective community relationship management and leadership:
  • Community
  • External Service Providers
  • alumni/school director emeritus
  • Manage sustainable outreach to worldwide alumni community.
  • Leverage service provider and non-profit organizations' expertise and talent to support initiatives.
  • Overall responsibility for planning and implementing successful events to build community spirit and active worldwide participation.

Job Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for and commitment to s global mission
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience, with at least 2-3 years in a marketing leadership role, strong preference for international experience
  • Ability to leverage technology and social media to engage worldwide stakeholders
  • A proven track record of working closely with school executives and key stakeholders, with an ability to work independently or collaboratively to maximize output and camaraderie
  • Ability to generate buy-in across stakeholders and influence diverse groups of individuals to achieve outcomes
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully executing ambitious projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • An Innovative and design thinker, with an ability to generate new ideas and implement solutions to complex problems
  • Strong cultural competence and an appreciation for the complexities and nuances of working in a global context
  • Authentic presence, strong written communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer service orientation
  • Ability to balance strategy and execution with a ?do what it takes' attitude
  • Excellent organization skills, with experience working in a data and process-driven organization
