Job Description

Our client, a technology services company, that is located in Woodbridge, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager.

The Logistics Manager is key to running daily processes and procedures of the Logistics Department in order to consistently meet the audio visual (AV) and production needs of our customers. The manager's goal is to facilitate excellent customer service and the success of their events by having a clear understanding of the requirements of our client's sales representatives and their clients. The Logistics Manager leads and supports Logistics team members in all scenarios, and has strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities

• Manage work schedule of Logistics personnel.

• Serve as the liaison for all new and existing small event AV vendors, including addressing all incident
reports and ensuring all their procedures are followed.

• Respond to daily needs of the department and delegate work as necessary.

• Ensure all sales teams are staffed appropriately.

• Coach Logistics Coordinators to ensure they are performing efficiently and to their fullest potential.

• Maintain an intimate understanding of all individual and team workloads.

• Maintain awareness of upcoming special events or potential increases in customer demands, and
prepare teams and staffing to ensure delivery performance.

• Ensure all orders are processed and delivered successfully on a daily basis.

• Understand, communicate, and enforce all policies and procedures, and keep up to date documentation
of any changes.

• Facilitate communication between Sales and Logistics and guide them on problem solving and dispute
resolution.

• Work closely with the management team to coordinate cross department functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Prior management experience preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
