Job Description

SNI Companies has partnered with a reputable law firm in Dallas looking to add a Litigation Paralegal with a focus on Labor & Employment to their team. This position requires candidates that maintain high energy, a positive attitude and are highly organized.

  • Assist in drafting of initial pleadings, including discovery, briefs, memos and findings of facts
  • Assisting attorneys with trial prepartion, trial research and presentation including preparing affidavits, gathering and organizing evidence, and drafting position statements or briefs
  • Establish, organize and maintain pleading boards, attorney trial notebooks, expert witness notebooks, document indexes and lists
  • Compile and create file organization and maintainence or filing system while preparing privelge logs
  • Preparation of exhibits and schedules
  • Act as liason between attorneys and clients
  • Preparation of areas of inquiry or questions for attorneys to use during depositions and trial
  • Perform assigned legal research tasks using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems
  • Assist with investigations- both documentary and witness interviews
  • Manage document productions, prepare exhibits and coordinate demonstrative evidence for hearings and trials, cite check and finalize briefs
  • Summarize depositions, transcripts and records. Prepare case summaries, chronologies, correspondence and memoranda
  • Attend and contribute to organization and strategy meetings


  • Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certification required
  • 5-7 years' experience within Litigation at a large law firm, preferrably with an emphasis on Labor & Employment
  • Abiltiy to utilize digital litigation support and electronic document production application
  • Experience in Compulaw, Lotus Notes, Lexis, Westlaw and Adobe platforms
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, litigation, procedures and discovery processes, including electronic discovery
