Currently seeking a bilingual, Spanish speaking, legal secretary in the Hartford, CT area to provide a high-level of support to assigned attorneys and other staff.
  • Provide work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • TEAM PLAYER as there will be many occasions you will be working in a group and supporting one another.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must have record of good attendance.

Job duties:
  • File, copy, and fax court documents.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Complete court forms.
  • Create, review and revise letters, spreadsheets, and charts.
  • Proofread drafts and prepare documents in final form.
  • Communicate with applicants and clients.
  • Enter data into legal file case management system.
  • Maintain court calendars through a docketing system.
  • Translate documents and serve as an interpreter for clients in the office, the court, and other advocacy forum.
