Job Description


We are currently seeking a contract Legal Contract Administrator in the Hartford area to assist Lawyers in the law department of a global insurance company. This person will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and negotiating vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements and certain customer agreements. You will also provide contract support to Procurement, HR, IT, and various other departments within the company.
Requirements:

  • Superior proficiency in MS Word (including experience creating document templates with form fields and password protection), MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform legal research independently.
  • Ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to superior customer service.


Preferred:

  • Associates degree in legal studies or Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
  • Paralegal certificate.
