Machine Shop Supervisor

Machine Shop Supervisor (Hands-On Role)
We're seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead and support a small team in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role involves overseeing daily machine shop operations, mentoring operators, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support CNC and manual machining operations
• Train and mentor team members on setups, tooling, and inspections
• Ensure quality control including first-piece and HAZLOC inspections
• Monitor and perform equipment preventative maintenance
• Assist with scheduling, troubleshooting, and process improvements
• Maintain safety, tooling inventory, and program backups

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with CNC/manual machining & machine programming
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, lift (up to 30-lbs), and perform hands-on shop tasks for extended periods.
