Overview:
We are working with a large organization is Manassas, VA who is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team. In this role, you will build, inspect, and test electronic and mechanical parts and assemblies. The work ranges from basic, repetitive tasks to more complex assembly and rework. You will use diagrams, drawings, and hand or power tools to complete jobs safely, accurately, and on time. 100% onsite.

Hours: 2nd Shift 4 days 10 hour shifts with Mandatory Overtime

Pay Rate: $18-$20 an hour

Responsibilities/Duties
- Assemble electronic and/or mechanical parts such as modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, and other components.
- Follow diagrams, drawings, and instructions to complete layouts and assemblies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and measuring equipment.
- Check continuity and quality of parts during and after assembly.
- Perform inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Disassemble, rework, and test prototype or experimental assemblies as needed.
- Work safely with paints, solvents, and other chemicals as part of the assembly process.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain a clean work area.
- Work with team members and supervisors to solve problems and meet production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Ability to read and follow diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work with paints, chemicals, and other materials safely (PPE provided).
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed for production tasks.
Hours: 2nd Shift 4 days 10 hour shifts with Mandatory Overtime
- 2:30pm-1am
- 3pm-2pm
