Executive Assistant

Staffing Now Denver, CO (Onsite) Contract to Hire
About the Opportunity
A leading advisory firm in the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) space is seeking a highly capable, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant. This is a temp-to-hire position offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, discreet, and confident managing a variety of administrative and project-support responsibilities. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a professional services environment and can anticipate the needs of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel planning, and expense reporting.
  • Manage communications: screen, prioritize, and draft responses for incoming emails and correspondence.
  • Prepare polished presentation materials, reports, and client deliverables (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems with accuracy and version control.
  • Coordinate across internal teams to collect data and prepare materials for client engagements.
  • Support client coordination: scheduling, preparation, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Anticipate executive needs to ensure meetings, projects, and deadlines are managed seamlessly.
  • Handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Assist with project management tasks and ad hoc initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience using HubSpot CRM to manage contacts, track communications, and support deal flow.
  • Prior experience working directly in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), investment banking, or related finance/consulting roles.
  • 3–5+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting senior-level executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate executive and team needs.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing financial or business reports, summaries, or presentations.
  • Familiarity with project management or document management systems.
  • Background in professional services (consulting, finance, advisory, legal).
