Major Duties

  • Maintains human resource information system records and company organization chart.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees. Participates in the recruitment process by placing internal and external ads, narrowing down candidates and preparing documentation.
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, training and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Assist in administering benefits, learning and development and employee performance programs to include coordinating and scheduling HR training and events.
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to FML and leave of absence, performance management, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  • Assists in administration of vehicle services program.
  • Update and create content for HR intranet.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.



Minimum Requirements

  • BA or BS, preferably in Business/HR related field
  • 2-5 years Human Resources experience required, preferably in a mid-sized company
  • 2 years previous experience in recruiting
  • Working knowledge and administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Experience resolving Associate Relations issues and relevant knowledge of employment law (Texas state laws preferred)
  • Self-starter, creative, flexible and able to adapt
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated diplomacy in dealing with difficult situations
  • Experience with ADP Vantage system a plus.



Pay is $28 - $32/hr DOE
