SNI Companies is in search for a Front Office Coordinator - Medical Receptionist in Port Huron, Michigan, who will be professional and effective corporate and enterprise client liaison, technical telecommunications expertise and operational efficiency within the corporate team to ensure the clients expectations are met and exceeded. Also, performs a variety of administrative duties, including scheduling input and registration, insurance verification, authorizations with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to our Team Members, Physicians and Partner Hospitals and Facilities.

Key Requirement:

  • Three to five years of medical office experience in a Physician's office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Functions as Client Liaison which delivers exceptional client service and support that underpins the on-going relationship between the client and the providers.
  • Have strong communication skills and always adhere to a high level of personal and professional presentation as this is a client facing role.
  • Input patient registration information.
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Input and update demographic information in Practice Management System.
  • Obtain insurance information from customers, obtain insurance verification for services.
  • Assemble information concerning patient clinical background and referral needs.
  • Audit data entry and generate reports as directed.
  • Set-up and maintain of Provider schedules for Skilled Nursing Facilities and Wound Care Centers when appropriate.
  • Maintain office equipment and maintain office supplies, (order as appropriate)

Requirements Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to five years of medical office experience in a Physician's office.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with Insurance authorizations
