ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Account for equity transactions, including stock based compensation and prepare basic and diluted EPS calculations.
  • Contribute to monitoring and implementing new U.S. GAAP accounting guidance and some SEC reporting requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure effective risk management and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley § 404
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Participate in special projects and/or ad-hoc requests as they arise.
  • Perform research and provide guidance on technical accounting issues on a range of accounting topics including revenue recognition, leases, inventory, fixed assets, foreign currency, fair value measurements, pensions, derivatives, etc
  • Provide technical accounting support for transactional due diligence and acquisition accounting.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm and/or public company.
  • CPA license is required.
  • Significant technical accounting knowledge related to a range of accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, inventory, foreign currency, fair value measurement, pensions, derivatives, etc.
  • Pulick accounting background from Big4 Preferred
