Job Description


This is a part-time role (1-2 days per week)
Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll biweekly through Paychex
  • Manage the auditing, financial reports, month-end and year-end closes
  • Makes bank deposit, bank transfers, all cash receipts and disbursements
  • Records all accounts receivables and payable in QuickBooks
  • Reconciles all bank/credit/debit card accounts
  • Create reports for board meetings and committees
  • Assists with fiscal year budget preparation
  • Tracks budget actuals, forecasts, and cash flow
  • Compiles all year-end financial data with auditors in preparation of annual financial statements and IRS Form 990, as well as other required state and federal filings


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business management preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with nonprofit accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Expert with QuickBooks and Excel
