Job Description

Our Logistics client is hiring for a temporary Dispatcher/Office Clerk to work full-time in their Tewksbury office, conveniently located off of Rte. 495 and offering a fun, energetic work environment!

Job Summary:

Ensure that the customer's orders are completed accurately beginning with the checking in of drivers, verifying orders and shipping in the computer system. Excellent customer service skills required when talking on the phone or at the dispatching desk with drivers, loaders and other staff.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the status of shipments.
  • Providing high quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment while keeping a positive disposition.
  • Dispatch delivery and pick-ups.

Educational & Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Excellent phone etiquette and superior customer service skill.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Be able to work in a fast pace work environment.
  • High energy with positive can-do attitude
  • Organized
