Job Summary

Examine all maintenance requests and verify daily management reports. Monitor changes made to customer accounts to assist the financial institution in combating fraud .

Job Responsibilities

  • Examine and record maintenance changes for the bank
  • Complete maintenance requests for the department
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Secure appropriate approvals on all exception items
  • Review daily management reports in imaging system and enter notes about review
  • Verify that CD, DDA, and Savings accounts are closed according to proper procedures
  • Assist customers with an array of services
  • Work with the Deposit Operations Wire Division for verification of wires
  • Work with Branch Management, Audit Department, New Account Administration, and upper management
  • Aid as the secondary liaison to complete government orders pertaining to freezes, levies, and garnishments, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and non-disclosure to bank staff
  • Analyze monthly dormant reports for CD, DDA and Savings accounts and prepare files for yearly escheatment process
  • Work as the primary for document scanning, imaging, verification, destruction of original documents, and archiving of verification, according to audit guidelines
  • Verify all new AFT and Sweeps are maintained on our core system correctly and ensure the corresponding forms are received and completed properly
  • Evaluate all new and existing signature cards are properly completed
  • Input alerts and user settings pertaining to deceased customers and overdraft privilege options
  • Perform daily review of Safe Deposit Box reports
  • Compile and present end of month reconcilement statements for management review
  • Prepare and create management reports, upon request
  • Perform other duties as assigned and special projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in bank operations
  • Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office including; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Adobe Reader, Acrobat, and Internet Browsers
  • High School Diploma or equivelant and Related Experience
  • College Degree preferred
  • Bank related core systems; Jack Henry core system preferred
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent proofing and verification skills
  • Skill to work in a dynamic, high monetary risk operations division governed by stringent deadlines and regulatory requirements
  • Complete tasks proficiently, in a timely manner, and maintain organized records
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make effective decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, on the phone and in person
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Additional Information

  • Pay - $16 Per Hour
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (occasional overtime)
  • Contract / Temporary - (3-6 Months)
