Job Description

Large parts company is seeking a full-time Data Entry Clerk. Candidates must have Purchase Order Experience to be considered.

1. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
* To assist in the efficient operation of the department

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
* Processing data entry from Customer's purchase orders to System
* Preparing worksheets for quoting and purchase orders reviews
* Faxing RFQs and purchase orders to Supplier
* Entering supplier's quotes to System
* Following-up order acknowledgement and late deliveries
* Other assignments as requested by the Account Manager
* Verifying the inputs from the Internal Supplier and the outputs before delivering to the Internal Customer
* Authorized to stop the process and notify Account Manager in the vent of noticing anything that could result in a nonconformance

3. APPLICABLE WORK INSTRUCTIONS:
* No work instructions for this position

4. SKILLS:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Have good organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work with others in a teaming environment.
* Organized and maintain a system for keeping track of tasks and priorities.
* Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
* Attention to detail and an eye for a high level of accuracy.
