Job Description

Assist Customer Service promptly and courteously by completing day to day tasks. Resolves customer inquiries and problems or properly refers them to appropriate personnel. Complete related records, reports, and documentation. Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for processing EDI posting logs
    • Sending confirmations
    • Sending picking tickets to warehouses
    • Releasing supplier PO's
    • Sending PO's to suppliers
  • Review and communicate shortages/overages from our warehouses and suppliers to our customers
  • Assist with revising orders after receiving allocations from buyers.
    • Revise order in our systems.
    • Communicate revision to warehouse/supplier and send revised picking tickets or PO's
  • Assist with handling overallocation reports
    • Communicating changes to customers
    • Sending revised picking tickets to warehouses
  • Perform Billing and Invoicing procedures for warehouse locations or suppliers with attention to accuracy and within defined deadlines
  • Invoices third- party customers via multiple customer portals, including EDICT and SPS Commerce
  • Handle various requests sent to the Customer Service
    • BOL requests
    • Expedite requests
    • Delivery/driver assistance
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.

Job Requirements:
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)

  • High school graduate or equivalent


  • Customer service and data entry experience

Other Skills/ Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of customer service preferences
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in ERP Systems
  • Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
