Job Description

A leading home restoration company based in the Bensenville area, needs to quickly add an inbound-based Customer Service Representative to their team. The job of the CSR is to field client calls and capture initial information for new projects and to act as a liaison between the company and customers as projects are underway. Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but the company is willing to train enthusiastic service specialists who are looking to make a permanent home.
This is a non-call-center, Temp-to-Hire opportunity and the client is setting up interviews this week. Please review the requirements for the position and respond right away with your availability and salary requirements.
The Customer Service Representative will:
  • Field inbound customer calls and directing them to the appropriate party
  • Support 1-2 salesmen traveling in the Northern suburbs to look up customer information, provide previous pricing details and furnishing marketing materials as needed
  • Troubleshoot customer issues
  • Schedule/re-schedule sales appointments and work schedules
  • Updating customer and project information in the company's ImproveIt-360 CRM software

Requirements for this role include:
  • 1-2 years previous experience fielding inbound customer service calls
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and light data entry in Excel)
  • A positive, upbeat attitude and able to react quickly to change-orders and customer requests
  • Previous experience with a CRM system
