Job Description


The company is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism. The candidate will interact daily with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry, strong attention to detail, and superior customer service skills. The candidate must also be sales driven with excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
Duties include:
-Answering customer calls or correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies and insurance claims.
-Facilitate the underwriting of insurance and ensure the customer's complete understanding of all aspects of coverage and the premiums associated with that coverage.
-Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services, quote new business applications and/or cancel accounts.
-Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customers' complaint; determining the cause of the issue; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
-Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries and comments, as well as actions taken.
-Quote and sell new or additional services or products.
-Display a positive, helpful attitude to help create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers.
-Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company's success.
Requirements:
-Have a minimum of five years customer service experience in the insurance industry
-Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner.
-Be sales driven with the proven ability to recognize cross-selling opportunities.
-Have experience sourcing and pricing personal and commercial lines of insurance coverage.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's
