What we're looking for:
We have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative. This
position serves as the interface between Customers, Sales Representatives, Distributors,
Operations, Engineering and the organization to ensure we manage and support our customers
with the goal to increase revenue while following processes and procedures established to maintain
budgeted margins.
Job Responsibilities:
? Perform the day to day responsibilities for assigned customer base to ensure timely
responses to pre and post sales inquiries, including price quotations, order entry, delivery,
lead time, expedites and other demands for our products and services.
? Prepare price book quotations directly for assigned customer base, in accordance with
company policies and procedures.
? Work collaboratively with Business Development and Engineering teams to prepare
non-price book quotations and gains management approval prior to quoting in accordance
with company policies and procedures to maintain budgeted gross margins for the quoted
product.
? Resolves customer issues by clarifying customer complaints, escalation to management
team, assist in determining root cause and providing a solution to the customer.
? Maintain customer portals, government bid-boards and other specialized electronic customer
interfaces as required.
? Effectively utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to process and
maintain current updates to customer account, quote and contact information.
? Performs the order entry activity and ensures timely and accurate review, acceptance and
confirmation orders.
? Oversee customer return activities to ensure prompt turnaround of repaired products.
Understanding of credit/debit process is a plus.
? Work collaboratively with Production/ Planning, ensures accurate lead-times are quoted to
customers.
? Coordinates with Production Planning to ensure customers are notified of delivery delays
prior to scheduled ship dates.
? Ensure telephone calls, emails and customer inquiries are answered in person during
assigned work times; the sales email account and the sales voicemail is maintained and
responded to promptly.
? Responsible to review and complete business surveys from our customers either directly or
by coordinating information from appropriate Quality, Finance, Engineering, business teams.
? Perform quote follow up for assigned accounts directly and/or with the sales channels on
high impact opportunities.
? Ensure all sales team members are included in customer correspondence for their assigned
territories and accounts covered.
? Participate in the development and implementation of departmental continuous
improvement initiatives each calendar year to improve the overall departmental
performance.
? Other duties as required. The pay is 25 an hour
