Job Description


Customer Accounts Representative Role:

  • Reviews and researches problems obtaining necessary information from policies, procedures and' practices.
  • Coordinates problem resolution with appropriate departments. Informs customers of standard procedures or resolution of problem.
  • Follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction. Determines best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
  • Knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, practices, products and services.
  • Operates data terminals and PC's for preparation of customer bills for utility services, processes payments, establishes and terminates accounts for customers; determines proper rates for customers and applicability of various incentive programs
  • Promotes and sells various products and services of the Department; processing of Department mail as needed, performs general clerical and other related work as assigned.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree in business or related field.
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Over 1 year of customer service representative or related experience.
  • Experienced in using enterprise application software (EAS) or similar/related..
  • Must have ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
