Corporate Training Coordinator

A well respected, global provider of structural engineered services is looking for a roll-up-their-sleeves type of individual to become a part of there growing team. The employee will work directly with Human Resources and new employees on implementation of training programs, design and coordinate training and other logistical L&D activities, and partner with business leaders in addressing team development needs and deliver learning through various formats including classroom, web, and e-learning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordination of activities including alignment with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure project completion on time and schedule and availability to target audience

  • Coordination, development and administration of pre- and post-training activities, including testing, certification and coaching/reinforcement efforts in support of development
  • Coordination of classroom and webinar activities and training programs
  • Schedule and coordinate training classes to ensure knowledge is learned by identified timelines
  • Utilize adult learning principles and training philosophies to ensure utilization of a variety of vehicles which leads to increased knowledge retention.
  • Develop or select teaching aids, such as training workbooks, participant guides, infographics, videos, hands on e-learning tutorials and reference materials
  • Support the tracking and communication of training initiatives
  • Ensure all levels are trained to meet or exceed established performance standards
  • Confer with SMEs to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with SMEs and teams throughout the organization
  • Develop programs or job aids that support the business needs while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain expert knowledge of training programs and systems usage
  • Ensure all materials have the most current information at all times via applicable internal business collaboration
  • Identify training or process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

Education & Experience

  • Prefer minimum 3 years' experience of classroom facilitation of adult learning
  • Development of training programs based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunity preferred
  • Proven expertise using instructional methods and training techniques
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight time constraints
  • Excellent training skills, including dynamic and professional communication and presentation capabilities, both virtual and in person
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development preferred?

  • Knowledge in researching training subjects and applying appropriate methods and materials to meet specific needs of trainees
  • Ability to develop a variety of training programs via a variety of deployment vehicles

  • Considerable skills in process improvement/business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem solving, team building, and consensus abilities
  • Experience with design, development and execution of learning/training programs rooted in Adult Learning principles
  • Ability to quickly learn new, complex technologies and concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to effectively meet customer needs, taking responsibility for customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment
