Business Development Associate



Looking for a business development associate to support a sales team. This person will play a key role in assisting all growth driving efforts across sales and marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
  • Pulling together business analytics, handling mass communications to the sales and broker team members, managing sales resources, assisting with data management and some reporting, support for internal (corporate) and external (field sales) tools & presentations, and extensive project support around new item launches, customer marketing support, inside sales responsibility (Internet & Export).
  • Cross-functional interaction: Sales, Marketing, Consumer Relations, Customer Service,

QUALIFICATIONS The right candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers. Assist in the development of new customers and projects through direct and indirect customer contact and prospecting. Work with sales, marketing and product development teams to implement new business development initiatives. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
