SNI Companies is proud to be working with a growing high-tech manufacturing company as they expand into new markets. Our Carol Steam-based client has been able to see their steady growth thanks in large part to their commitment to quality as well as to their customer base. With that in mind, they are looking to add a Business Development Representative to their team and help them to maintain information and generate qualified leads for targeted sales.

To be successful in this role, the Business Development Representative will:

  • Possess excellent phone skills with a foundation of a solid customer service
  • Make a large volume of outbound calls a day with the aim to get past the gatekeepers and establish the decision-makers and key personnel within an organization
  • Enter in new or modify existing customer information, establish needs, provide initial product information
  • Able to navigate an SAP-based software platform
  • Set appointments between decision-makers and the sales team
  • Field inbound calls to troubleshoot service, product or delivery issues
  • Be goal-oriented and 100% driven to see increased sales

Requirements for the Business Development Representative include:

  • 2+ years of experience in an outbound call center or customer service environment making heavy outbound calls
  • General proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook with the ability to type 40 wpm or more
  • Prior B2B sales experience is a plus
  • Possess an excellent work ethic and demonstrate punctuality and the ability to "put in the hours"
