Job Description

We are currently partnered with a busy law firm in the Hartford area that is in need of an immediate part time (20-30 hrs) Bookkeeper with experience in payroll and tax preparation for small businesses.
Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and analyzing financial statements and reports
  • Processing payroll
  • Processing tax payments as needed
  • Assisting with tax preparation as needed
  • Journal entries
  • Account reconciliation
  • Posting payments and entering invoices into accounting software
  • Process A/R and A/P

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Payroll processing
  • Accounting Software knowledge such as QuickBooks
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
