Job Description

Human Resources Coordinator ( Temp to Hire)
Our client creates a complete line of gourmet item for restaurants, coffee shop chains, food service distributors, and in-store supermarket bakeries throughout the United States.
This position provides confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates new hire orientations, new hire paperwork
  • Sends out new hire temp checklists and termination temp checklists
  • Updates HRIS system with new hire information, terminations, change requests, etc.
  • Updates various spreadsheets
  • Assists with Open Enrollment
  • Helps employees enroll in medical and dental plans
  • Maintains electronic employee files
  • Scanning paperwork into employee electronic files
  • Assists with integration of new payroll system and benefit platforms
  • Performs other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • College Degree
  • 1-4 years Human Resources experience
  • Experience working for a manufacturing environment background a plus
  • Understanding of current Labor Laws and Human Resources principles
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a discrete professional manner
  • Sound knowledge and computer programs including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent typing and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines while remaining flexible to a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful relationships
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Bilingual: Spanish a must
