Staffing Now, one of the fastest growing administrative staffing agencies, is seeking a highly skilled customer support associate for one of our local Fortune 500 clients. We specialize in matching professionals with the right temporary or full-time job opportunities. The Support Desk Associate will be responsible for creating tickets and sending the ticket to the correct department, research invoices and relay status information. This position requires outstanding data entry and organization skills as well as strong communication skills.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle calls coming into the SSC Support Desk attempt to resolve the service request; log and monitor progress of all issues
  • Provide assistance to dealership personnel in looking up the status of invoices, and other items tracked through the SSC
  • Use Fortis Link, Cash Pro, DRIVE, Service Desk, and Excel
  • Provide resolution information and status on service requests previously called into the Support Desk and escalate critical issues appropriately within the various departments in the SSC


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Understand basic accounting principles and logic
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service environment
  • Analytical problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute
  • Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, Word, and Office.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems
  • Have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
  • Communicate effectively with customer base
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment
  • Produce high- quality work while under deadline pressure
  • Automotive customer service experience preferred, but not required
