Human Resources Manager Contract possible Contract to hire

Must be Bilingual in Spanish

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are followed, trains managers on how to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Informs employees of company and/or union benefits
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains and manages employees' leave benefits
  • Reconciles monthly Union Dues, Deductions , Health and Welfare, and Training reports
  • Interpret and guide managers on current Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Manage Unemployment Cases
  • Conduct annual sexual harassment trainings
  • Performance government background checks
  • Create and/or update resumes for Managers and/or Supervisors
  • Administers FMLA benefits
  • Work collaboratively with Union regarding Labor Management trainings, meetings and/or employee update
  • Work directly with Chief Administrator

Skills and Qualifications:

Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Labor Management, Employment Law, Laws against Sexual Harassment, Excel Proficient must be Bilingual in Spanish
