Job Description


Office Assistant/Receptionist for global company in Monmouth County, NJ.

  • You will assist the Human Resources Corporate and Field HR teams with various administrative functions to include HR program scheduling, special projects, and other HR initiatives for the company.
  • This position is also responsible for providing administrative support and helping to coordinate, execute and disseminate pertinent information relevant to the HR and Safety functions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and edit business correspondence, presentations, surveys, project plans, reports and analytical data.
  • Assist with inquires and provide information to internal and external clients related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Support leave of absence process and prepare necessary paperwork for HR Manager.
  • Conduct research and presents options as well as recommendations on project based work.
  • Maintain web-based employee HR processes ie: ADP, Concur, Think HR and ICIMS, Aurico, etc.
  • Execute onboarding process for new hires to include access to all necessary systems.
  • Create, design and run Ad hoc reports for the VP of HR on an as needed basis.
  • Support creation of HR resource tools to disseminate throughout the organization.
  • Work closely with Marketing to design appropriate HR and Safety communications.
  • Coordinate on site employee events.
  • Handle Receptionist duties to include answering phones, greeting visitors and talking with plant candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned by the HR Director

  • Strong problem solving skills must be proactive and take initiative and have the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal/people skills; ability to establish and build partnerships with all levels of management and business partners.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3-5 years prior experience in an administrative support role
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Prior experience with ICIMS, applicant tracking system and ADP helpful
  • Proven ability to lead and positively affect change in a fast paced environment
