Job Description

SNI Companies is looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant to perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Another important function of this role is involvement in the sample request and fulfillment process.

Essential Job Functions

  • Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases. Manage the digital document storage software.
  • Manage one time sales to customers.
  • Manage new product shipped to the office. Log the sample and properly store the sample. Send sample to customer along with all appropriate paperwork.
  • Process all sample orders, attempting to fill each by requested date.
  • Manage supplies and ordering for the office including kitchen/lab supplies.
  • Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.
  • Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
  • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors.
