Job Description

We are looking for a temp-to-hire admininstrative assistant for their legal department in the Somerville area.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Manage and respond to the high volume of daily requests submitted to the Department.
  • Handle all Department administrative tasks.
  • Frequent printing, copying, scanning, and filing of documents.
  • Perform thorough document comparisons.
  • Draft correspondence.
  • Independently track and frequently follow up on Department request for information.
  • Maintain Department files, databases, and records.
  • Schedule Department meetings, manage the agenda of Department meetings, and record minutes of meetings.
  • Organize and maintain Department files, records and databases following established procedures; update such procedures as required.
  • Enters information from source documents into databases and/or spreadsheets.



Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or related profession.
  • Strong typing skills and proficient (intermediate) knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills required in order to handle many requests and tasks simultaneously.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Salesforce administration experience or equivalent CRM experience.
  • Prior law office or law department experience would be great, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
