Temporary contract for 3-4 months. M-F 8-5 in Wilmington, MA
Administrative Assistant Job Description:

  • Onboarding and tracking renewals of subcontractors for General Construction/Restoration company.


Compliance monitoring and insurance tracking of Subcontractor Profiles.

  • Interface with external clients and internal teams.
  • Review and understand standard Certificates of Insurance;
  • Analyzes policies and endorsements to identify errors, omissions or discrepancies prior to the acceptance of certificate for subcontractor work.
  • Renewal tracking
  • Auditing
  • Revision requests
  • Maintain current Activity log; follows up on open activities
  • Strong organizational and good verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Participates in seminars and classes for knowledge and skill development
  • Perform other duties as assigned



We are looking for someone who has a sense of urgency and can work in a fast-paced environment. This person must be flexible and be able to support various divisions at any given time. Must be able to effectively time manage their desk on their own so deadlines or meeting deadlines are never missed. This position requires an individual who can work independently and has the initiative to problem solve. We also want someone who is a team player, a strong communicator and is not afraid to ask for help either.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant for an insurance carrier or broker (2-3 years) is ideal
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Customer service experience
  • SalesForce preferred
  • Telephone experience - must be able to answer incoming calls - multiline
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
