Tool and Model Maker
Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated Tool and Model Maker to support their manufacturing and development of precision miniature fluid control components. This role involves working on a mix of short- and long-term projects, including prototype machining, tooling repair, and new product setup. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in process and design improvements.
Responsibilities:

Interpret complex blueprints and drawings for various machining and assembly tasks.

Perform advanced CNC and manual machining with precise setups and tight tolerances, including G/M code programming.

Build jigs, fixtures, molds, dies, prototypes, and cutting tools.

Operate a variety of machines (CNC/manual lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, jig bores, etc.)

Collaborate with engineering on part design, clarification, and rework.
Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification.

Skilled in using computerized machine controls, measurement tools, and hand tools.

Proficient in blueprint reading, data entry, and production documentation.

Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
