Quality Inspector / Lab Technician
Full-Time | Aerospace & Military Manufacturing
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Lab Technician to join our Quality Control team. This hybrid role performs visual/mechanical inspection of painted and plated parts, and conducts lab testing on chemical processes used in metal finishing. Work involves frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and hands-on inspection of aluminum, steel, plastic, and machined components.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Lab Technician to join our Quality Control team. This hybrid role performs visual/mechanical inspection of painted and plated parts, and conducts lab testing on chemical processes used in metal finishing. Work involves frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and hands-on inspection of aluminum, steel, plastic, and machined components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, gloss meters, etc.
- Inspect surface prep, plating, painting, and marking for compliance to specs.
- Conduct chemical analysis (titration, pH, TDS, temperature) on tank solutions and rinse waters.
- Assist with coating thickness, adhesion, and salt spray testing.
- Maintain accurate test records and follow safety procedures.
- 1–3 years of experience in inspection or metal finishing/lab work.
- Working knowledge of paint/plating processes and lab test methods.
- Ability to operate inspection and lab equipment.
- On-the-job training provided for lab testing proficiency.
