Fleet Assistant
Job Title: Fleet Administrative Assistant
Location: On-site in DTC (Monday – Thursday) with remote option on Fridays
Hours: Flexible, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (preferred: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 30 days
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Overview:
SNI Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Administrative Assistant for a short-term clean-up project with a manufacturing and distribution client. This is an individual contributor role focused on data analysis and administrative tasks to streamline fleet management processes. The role involves working closely with insurance brokers and store teams to ensure vehicles are properly documented, insured, and equipped with necessary tools.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze fleet data to determine vehicle counts, locations, and compliance status.

Verify that all vehicles are properly insured, licensed, and registered in the appropriate state.

Ensure all vehicle documentation, including truck/car information, is accurate and up-to-date.

Audit the gas card system, identify stores without cards or underutilized cards, and educate stores on the correct process.

Assess the installation and utilization of GPS trackers (GeoTab system) in fleet vehicles.

Utilize the GeoTab system to:

Track vehicle maintenance schedules.

Identify last inspection dates.

Schedule and manage future maintenance activities.

Maintain effective communication with insurance brokers and other stakeholders.

Use Smartsheet and Excel to organize and manage fleet data.
Qualifications:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet.

Strong email communication skills.
-
Experience in data analysis and administrative tasks.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with fleet management, GeoTab, or similar GPS tracking systems is a plus.
